Dr. Tamboli is not just a superb cardiologist, he is a wonderful human being with warmth and humanity. I’ve known Dr. T for nearly 30 years. Yes, he can speak “medicine,” but he also talks to his patients in down-to-earth terms and manner that reflect his compassion. An extremely bright person, Dr. T is always thinking ahead for his patients, always looking out for them. His warm manner and quiet confidence help inspire confidence and comfort in his patients. I feel that Dr. Tamboli saved my life back in January 2014. I had been going to Dr. Tamboli, who has been my heart doctor since 2002, when I had a heart attack and he placed a stent in my artery .

In 2014 I was having a bad time with shortness of breath. He listened to me and even though the echocardiogram did not show a problem, he sent me to Brandon Hospital where he ran two tests; I did not get to go home. He introduced me to Dr. Bradley Bufkin, heart surgeon, who performed valve surgery that included sewing up two leaks in my valve and a triple by-pass which saved my life.

Dr. Tamboli is a wonderful doctor that listens to his patients and I consider him not just a doctor but a friend.
