Dr. Lee Phan
Dr. Lee Phan, DO, is an interventional cardiologist joining Heart, Vascular and Vein of Tampa Bay. Born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he earned his bachelor’s degree in biological science with a minor in chemistry from Louisiana State University. Dr. Phan completed medical school in 2016 at William Carey University in Mississippi. He then moved to Florida for his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular fellowship at Broward Health Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where he was elected Chief Fellow by his peers and faculty. Following this, he completed a subspecialty fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Palmetto General Hospital, receiving extensive training in coronary, structural, and peripheral interventions.
Dr. Phan is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), and board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology. He also holds certifications from the Board of Nuclear Cardiology, National Board of Echocardiography, and as a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. An active member of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, and American Osteopathic Association, Dr. Phan is deeply committed to his field.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Phan enjoys working out, dining with his wife, and spending quality time with his family. Committed to providing compassionate, personalized care, he promises to treat every patient as he would his own family and is excited to serve the Tampa area.
